This light head shield in the American style still affords protection when other head shields are starting to melt. The welder is better protected than with conventional helmets by the use of glass fibre, which prevents the deep penetration of welding sparks and spatters by means of the embedded glass fibre matting. Extremely non-inflammable. With ratchet head band, without glass shield.
